Delphine Gardére, CEO of The Oldest Haitian Rum Distillery: Rhum Barbancourt

Delphine Gardére

Delphine Gardére is the  CEO of the iconic Haitian rum distillery, Rhum Barbancourt. It is both the oldest and biggest rum exporter of Haiti. Rhum Barbancourt was founded on March 18, 1862 by Dupré Barbancourt who used the Charente method of double distillation that was usually reserved for creating Cognac for his rum. This allowed him to create a rum of unique quality, with flavors combining authenticity and refinement.

Delphine joined Rhum Barbancourt in 2016 as an Export Distribution Manager. A year later, she rose to the position of Managing Director, and now, she serves as the company CEO.
